SNCD annual general meeting in Bristol

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sang-ngak-chö-dzong will take place on Sunday 25th March 2017 at 10.30am in Clifton Vale, Bristol, BS8 4PT.

All members and friends of Sang-ngak-chö-dzong are most warmly invited and encouraged to attend, and to RSVP if they intend to do so.

Sang-ngak-chö-dzong is the UK charity of the Aro tradition. It supports the activities and oversees the finances of the tradition, including the lama housing appeal (for Jomo Sam’phel), the making of practice equipment, and the establishment of Drala Jong. The charity is an association, a group of people with a common commitment and purpose, and as a member you have a right to participate in how it is run.

The draft AGM agenda is below. Should you wish for anything to be added, please let us know by Sunday 25th February. The meeting should last around half an hour. There will be formal election and re-election of committee members and an overview of the activities of the charity for the previous year. This is an ideal opportunity to see what the committee does.

As dictated by our constitution, one third of the committee will stand down, but be eligible for re-election. This is also an opportunity for new members to join the committee, should you feel so inspired. We usually have 4 committee meetings a year in the Bristol area. If you would like to volunteer as a committee member or to nominate somebody else, please contact Paul Hurley (Secretary – drpaulhurley at by Sunday 25th February.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.

Please contact the Secretary Paul Hurley (drpaulhurley at for the venue address or if you have any questions.
